She was working as a private duty nurse.
She

Obituary: Kathleen Walter Brady, 87, of Madison Street,
Wilkes-Barre, died Wednesday (13 Nov 1996) in Wilkes-Barre General
Hospital.
She was born May 2, 1909, in Wilkes-Barre, daughter of the late Jacob
and Matilda Schappert Walter, was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High
School and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing.
Mrs. Brady was employed as a registered nurse in private duty and was
a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Wilkes-Barre.
Her husband, James B., died April 27, 1984. Sisters, Regina
Fischer, Alberta Walter, Mary Everhart, and Ruth Dwyer, brothers,
Edward, the Rev. Monsignor Louis, Paul, Frederick, and Joseph, also
preceded her in death.
Surviving are son, James, at home; daughters, Mrs. William (Kathleen)
Gebhardt, Delaware; Mrs. Robert (Margaret) Rukstalis, Kingston; Mrs.
Chester (Patricia) Belsky, East Greenville; Mrs. Edward (Charlotte)
Azarovich, Pittston, 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, nieces
and nephews.
Funeral will be held Saturday at 9 from McLaughlin Funeral Service,
142 S. Washington St., Wilkes-Barre, with Funeral Mass at 9:30 in St.
John the Evangelist Church. Entombment will be in St. Mary's
Mausoleum, Hanover Township.
