FIRST GENERATION
Joseph Fischer was born about 1870 in Germany. He immigrated in 1871 or 1872. He became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1896.
In the 1910 census, he worked as a moulder in a foundry. He lived with his wife and 8 children at 519 Prospect Ave., Scranton, Lackawanna, Pennsylvania.
In the 1920 census, he worked as a car maker on the railroad. He lived with his wife and 6 children at 521 Prospect Ave., Scranton, Lackawanna, Pennsylvania.
Elizabeth Theobold was born about 1872 in Germany. She immigrated in 1880 (1910 census). She became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1896.
Joseph Fischer and Elizabeth Theobold married in about 1895.
